I thought it would be nice to post one of my felted fish rugs which I so enjoy creating. Being a rug, these start out quite deep, up to six layers of wool before the design even starts.
I work up close with the piece, really focusing on the eye and
gill area where I find their color to be most intense. As a fly fisherwoman, I see these creatures incredibly beautiful and
understand that in no way can I reproduce that beauty.
